Feedback from members has been superb, I have to say! Thank you.  I am certain we’ll be booking again and will let others know about what you have to offer – Many thanks for a lovely weekend!

A great hostel for a meet up of friends. We have been coming here for decades and still enjoy the facilities, location and the village. The booking process is simple with a very helpful bookings coordinator too for this last minute changes. Great kitchen facilities for self catering with everything you need. The hostel holds up to 30 people and has all you need for that many too. Great place for friends and family gatherings with plenty of great walking and pubs nearby.
Great place for group of 27 friends and teenage children. Great location in centre of village and whilst basic facilities as you would expect from hostel type accommodation there was everything we needed for a great weekend. Communications when booking and helpful warden also a big plus – thanks – would highly recommend
This is an old house that sleeps up to 30 people, great for school trips or big family get aways. Really cheap. Bedding available for hire. It’s a self catering accommodation with an arga for cooking, big dining room also. Good central location. Loads of local walks and a few local pubs/ restaurants.

Wharfeside House is situated in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales, in the centre of the village of Kettlewell.

The hostel provides an ideal location for those longing for the outdoors – whether for walking, cycling, running, or sightseeing – for the more adventurous there is potholing, and plenty more – and after you’ve finished your days out – return to the house for a well earned rest.

It is also an ideal location for those not as active who want to savour the atmosphere and indulge in their hobbies.
Either cater for yourselves in the well appointed kitchen, with an Aga, or dine out in the number of pubs and restaurants in the area.

Did you know that Wharfeside House was purchased, and started being managed by the Huddersfield Wharfeside Youth Trust in 1969 – which means that Wharfeside House has been providing residential opportunities for over 50 years.

WELL DONE
